About The Position

Jackson Lewis P.C. is hiring an Associate attorney for its San Francisco, California office. The firm focuses on employment and labor law and represents employers in employment-related litigation and workplace matters. The role involves defending lawsuits and agency charges, advising and training employers, and representing employers in court, arbitration, administrative proceedings, and mediations. Matters include class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases. Class Action/PAGA experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
4–9 years of experience; an employment law background is strongly preferred.
Current admission to the California Bar in good standing.
Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.
