About The Position

Horst Insurance is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Producer with a strong internal drive and a proven track record in group benefits sales. Based at the company headquarters in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the role combines client retention and new sales responsibilities from the start. The producer will work in a team-oriented, client-focused organization and draw on team support and resources to pursue growth and retention objectives. Horst Insurance provides employee group benefits and commercial and personal insurance services to more than 7,500 businesses and families in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. It is part of Horst Group, Inc., which includes Construction, Property Management, and Insurance businesses.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
Solid business acumen and ability to communicate effectively with business owners and leaders.
Pennsylvania Producer License with Life, Accident & Health Lines of Authority.
At least 2 years of experience in employee group benefits account management and production.
Effective time management skills to accomplish growth and retention objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated presentation skills.
An established network of key influencers, business leaders, and community organizations.
Working knowledge of benefit agency management systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
