About The Position

AMR is hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and provide patients with high-quality care, treatment, and customer service. EMTs assess patients, determine appropriate care, and deliver emergency services using proper medical techniques and equipment. They document patient information, condition, and treatment while protecting confidentiality and patient rights, and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment. EMTs operate ambulances in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws, and work professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs. The role also includes participating in community programs to support AMR’s image and community relations. Hourly rates start at $15.90, depending on experience (DOE).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State driver’s license.
• National or State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass the Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
