About The Position

Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and provide high-quality patient care, treatment, and customer service. This is a full-time opportunity with starting wages of $21 per hour, increased based on experience. Applicants must upload a Florida state EMT license to be considered. AMR is part of Global Medical Response (GMR), whose teams provide compassionate, quality medical care, primarily through emergency and patient relocation services. Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
State driver’s license.
Florida state EMT certification; applicants must upload their Florida EMT license to be considered.
CPR/BLS certification.
Driving record in compliance with company policy.
Pass the Physical Ability Test (PAT).

Nice To Haves

Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use appropriate skills and equipment for patient care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws applicable to emergency medical response vehicles.
Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
