About The Position
AMR is hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technician-Basics (EMT-Bs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour and is based on years of experience; the stated pay range is $19.00–$23.25 per hour. AMR is part of Global Medical Response (GMR), whose teams provide compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in emergency and patient relocation services. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- State driver’s license.
- State EMT certification.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Driving record must comply with company policy.
- Must pass the Physical Ability Test (PAT).

- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Use appropriate skills and resources to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
- Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency medical response vehicles.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
