About The Position

AMR is hiring part-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and provide patients with high-quality care, treatment, and customer service. EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. They document patient information, condition, and treatment while protecting confidentiality and patient rights, and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment. The role includes operating an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and applicable traffic laws, and collaborating professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs. EMTs may also participate in community programs to support AMR’s image and community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT license.
• State driver’s license.
• BLS and NREMT.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
