About The Position

AMR is hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technicians to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and provide patients with high-quality care, treatment, and customer service. EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. They document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights, and help keep the care environment safe, clean, and well-stocked. EMTs also operate ambulances in accordance with company safety policies and applicable traffic laws, and work professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs. The role may include participating in community programs to support AMR’s image and build strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS certification.
• NREMT.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass the Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
