About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a part-time Emergency Department Technician for the Emergency Department at Baptist South. The technician assists Registered Nurses with patient care and daily healthcare needs, including activities of daily living, maintaining a safe patient environment, collecting laboratory specimens, monitoring intake and output, and documenting in the electronic medical record. The role works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support quality patient care and efficient Emergency Department operations. The primary location is Baptist South, South - Main Building, 14550 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Licensed EMT or CNA.
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts or Science degree.
Responsibilities
