About The Position

Baptist Medical Center South is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting, supporting the healthcare needs of the community. This is a full-time night-shift position, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, at the South - Main Building.

Requirements

• ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire for Adult Emergency Departments and Free-Standing Emergency Departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients and their significant others or families.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs.
• Advocate for patients while providing compassionate care to people with a variety of medical, surgical, and emergency conditions, including chronic illnesses and minor injuries.
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments and supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes and a high standard of care.
