About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support patient care and daily healthcare needs in the Emergency Department at Baptist South. The technician works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to help ensure quality patient care and efficient Emergency Department operations. This is a part-time shift opportunity at the South - Main Building, 14550 Old St Augustine Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32258.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Licensed EMT or CNA required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts or Science preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses in caring for Emergency Department patients, including supporting activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe patient environment.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor patient intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record.
- Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
