About The Position

Study Smart is hiring a part-time tutor to teach math and English language arts to students in grades 3–5 in person in Waldorf, Maryland. The tutor will support small and large groups, use information about class assignments, and adapt to new materials and teaching strategies. The role involves consistent communication with Study Smart staff and collaboration with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies for students. Scheduled hours are Wednesdays from 9 AM to 11 AM EST. Tutors must complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location.

Requirements

• Completed four-year degree.
• In-person availability is required.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.
