Part-Time Elementary ELA Tutor (College Point, NY)
About The Position
Study Smart is hiring a part-time tutor to teach ELA to students in grades 3–5 in College Point, New York. The tutor will provide support to small and large groups, adapt to new materials and teaching strategies, and maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff. The tutor will partner with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to students. Tutors will have access to information about class assignments. The schedule is Tuesdays through Thursdays between 11:45 AM and 3:30 PM EST. The role requires a completed four-year degree and passing a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
