About The Position

Study Smart is hiring a part-time tutor to provide English language arts (ELA) support to students in grades 3–5 in College Point, New York. The tutor will work with small and large groups, use information about class assignments, adapt to new materials and teaching strategies, communicate consistently with Study Smart staff, and collaborate with the Education team on comprehensive learning strategies for students.

The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday between 11:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The role requires a completed four-year degree and successful completion of a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
