About The Position
Study Smart is hiring a part-time tutor to teach ELA Literacy to students in grades 1–5 in person in Pacifica, California. Tutors support students in small and large groups, adapt to new materials and teaching strategies, and maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff. The tutor partners with Study Smart’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies for students. The schedule is Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:45 PM to 7:00 PM PST. The role is for Fall 2026. Requirements
- A completed four-year degree is required.
- In-person availability is required.
- Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location.

- Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
