About The Position
Bi-Mart is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Electronics & Housewares Clerk to help deliver a high degree of customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience. The role may include serving customers, replenishing inventory, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the department. The position is with a community-based, employee-owned retailer that has served the Northwest for more than 70 years.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Be precise, set priorities, and organize workload.
- Solve problems efficiently and offer solutions to customers.
- Engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
- Experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.
- Knowledge or experience with photography and other electronic-based hobbies.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly, and excellent customer service to customers.
- Help maintain a well-stocked Electronics & Housewares department through inventory replenishment and stocking.
- Handle customer transactions precisely, including cashiering.
- Maintain merchandise and the department.
- Assist customers by identifying and offering solutions to their needs.
