Electronics & Housewares Department Manager
About The Position
Bi-Mart is seeking a hardworking and energetic Electronics & Housewares Department Manager to build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service. The role is part of the Store Team, which works to maintain excellent customer service and friendliness and create a welcoming shopping experience for customers. Daily work includes providing prompt, friendly service; handling customer transactions accurately; ensuring sales clerks receive required breaks; and working with store management to foster teamwork and pride of ownership. Other duties may include replenishing inventory, keeping department fixtures clean and well stocked, and helping train new employees on department responsibilities. Store hours are 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Sunday; hours may vary according to workload and assignment.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Set priorities and organize workload.
- Solve problems efficiently and offer solutions to customers.
- Engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Think strategically and lead.
- Have at least 1 year of experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.
