About The Position

Diversified is hiring an Electronic Security Installation Technician to perform installation work on client technology projects. The role is a key field position responsible for carrying out much of the work at client sites, interpreting drawing packages, and coordinating with project management, field superintendents, and others to understand project responsibilities. Installations may include electronic security systems and other technology components such as displays, projectors, loudspeakers, microphones, and equipment racks. The technician may also provide advice and guidance to Associate Installation Technicians. Frequent car travel and occasional air travel are required; local job-site travel is typically 70–90%, and remote travel may be required regularly. Work may take place on construction sites, where the technician is responsible for personal safety and compliance with site safety rules, including wearing required PPE. When not at construction sites, work may take place in normal office conditions. The employee must have a valid driver’s license and use their own vehicle for travel, with mileage reimbursed at the current corporate rate.
