About The Position

We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Wire Harness Design Engineer with our client in the Washington area who is working on an Airbus A330 Freighter Aircraft. This role involves developing and maintaining Wire Harness physical design and installation, performing assigned tasks to meet the organization's expectations for quality, schedule, and process compliance. The engineer will collaborate and coordinate with the customer to develop design solutions, translate program technical requirements into work requirements, processes, and tasks, and develop solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
• 6+ years' experience in an engineering classification
• Experience using CATIA V5 OR AutoCAD Electrical work bench
• Minimum of 5 years electrical harness installation design
• Experience routing shipside and monument wires
• Experience reading and understanding Wire Diagrams
• Experience locating, mounting/installing LRUs and all mounting provisions
