About The Position

Fluidstack is seeking an Electrical Lead for their Capacity Delivery team. This role is crucial in engineering gigawatts of power from drawing to energization in months, not years. The Capacity Delivery team owns technical execution across every build, including drawings, field questions, and engineering calls to keep multiple concurrent gigawatt sites moving. They engineer data centers that are built in months, not years, where rework is not an option and problems must be caught on paper. The goal is to design it once and build it a hundred times, with each site's lessons rolling into the reference design to accelerate future builds. The Electrical Lead will own electrical engineering across the portfolio, from utility interface to rack distribution, and from reference design to energization. This includes setting and evolving the electrical reference design (switchgear lineups, UPS topology, and busway), making field electrical calls at build speed, owning energization readiness site by site, and critically reviewing consultant studies (short circuit, coordination, arc flash).

Requirements

Led electrical engineering for data center or heavy industrial builds.
Review protection and coordination studies and find the errors in them.
Owned energization sequences with utilities and AHJs.
Field decisions balance speed and safety without trading either away.
