Electrical Field Engineer, Capacity Delivery
About The Position
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, aiming to deliver 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. The Capacity Delivery Team is responsible for the technical execution of building data centers, from drawings to energization, ensuring speed and scale. This role involves being the electrical engineering presence on site, verifying installations, answering field questions, and feeding constructability lessons back into the reference design. The team operates with extreme ownership, velocity, first principles, and a passion for the problem space, often involving long hours at high intensity.
Requirements
- Field-engineered electrical scope on industrial builds.
- Catch termination and grounding errors on sight.
- Run pre-energization checklists and refused to sign incomplete ones.
- On site every day and more effective there than anywhere else.
Nice To Haves
- Electrician background.
- MV terminations.
- NETA testing awareness.
- NFPA 70E.
Responsibilities
- Be the electrical engineering presence on site: verify installs, catch deviations, and answer workface questions same-day.
- Walk down electrical installations daily: raceway, terminations, grounding, and labeling against design.
- Run the electrical punch and pre-energization checks so systems reach energization complete.
- Feed field constructability lessons back into the reference design.
