Spanish Speaking ELA Tutor
About The Position
The Education Champion – ELA Tutor provides English Language Arts support to 6th-grade students. The role delivers individualized and small-group instruction to help students strengthen literacy, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and critical-thinking skills, while building confidence in their academic performance. The tutor collaborates with school staff and fellow educators to provide engaging, student-centered learning tailored to students’ academic needs. The program runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The position is intended for bilingual Spanish speakers and offers hands-on tutoring experience and ongoing training.
Requirements
- Be a bilingual Spanish speaker.
- Be a degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Have a genuine commitment to supporting students’ academic growth and personal development.
- Be willing to work collaboratively with school staff and fellow tutors.
