About The Position

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking Early Intervention Specialist to provide services in northern San Diego County, including Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Valley Center, Encinitas, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Pala Mesa, Fallbrook, and surrounding areas. The role is available part-time or full-time, with candidates expected to be available for 20 or more client hours per week, plus travel time between sessions.

The specialist works with children in family homes to implement personalized, family-focused treatment programs. The organization uses a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to help families support their child's developmental milestones. Most services are provided during home visits, though virtual sessions may be needed due to illness or other special circumstances. Caseloads may include a mix of in-person and virtual services based on client or family needs and preferences. The company will try to center the caseload around the specialist’s preferred locations when possible.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of basic infant and toddler developmental stages.
• At least one year of experience working with children ages 0–5.
• Fluency in speaking and reading Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to home-based sites within a 30-mile radius.
• Current vehicle insurance and registration.
• Current CPR certification for infants, children, and adults.
• Current TB status.
