About The Position

Young Interventions, Inc. is hiring a bilingual Spanish-speaking Early Intervention Specialist to support infants and toddlers with, or at risk of developing, developmental disabilities in North San Diego County. The role involves delivering personalized, family-focused treatment programs in children’s homes using a routines-based parent coaching model to help families support their children’s developmental milestones. Most services are provided in person, with virtual sessions possible when illness or other special circumstances arise. Caseload locations may be centered around the specialist’s preferred areas when possible. The position is available part time or full time. Candidates should be available for at least 20 client hours per week, in addition to travel time between sessions. Home visits may take place in Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Valley Center, Encinitas, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Pala Mesa, Fallbrook, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
Solid knowledge of basic infant and toddler developmental stages.
At least one year of experience working with children ages 0–5.
Fluent ability to speak and read Spanish.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to home-based sites within a 30-mile radius.
Current vehicle insurance and registration.
Current CPR certification for infants, children, and adults.
Current TB status.
