About The Position

The eCommerce Clerk serves as a personal shopper and point of contact for Heinen’s customers by selecting items and assembling online orders. The role ensures orders are picked accurately, properly packed, stored, and staged for pickup in a timely manner. Associates maintain quality control and handle products carefully during selection and packing to minimize damage and uphold Heinen’s quality standards. They are also expected to provide customer service consistent with the Heinen’s brand.

Work a flexible schedule that includes weekend and evening hours.

Responsibilities

Understand the store layout and variety of product offerings.
Communicate with customers by phone and in person to ensure online orders are accurate, including product substitutions.
Collaborate with other eCommerce clerks to complete daily orders.
Prioritize safety for team members, customers, and products in all aspects of work.
Develop expertise in the software application and maximize pick-and-pack efficiency by following Heinen’s selection standards.
Interact with and assist customers as needed.
Organize and stage customer orders to support pickup and delivery.
Provide feedback as necessary to support process improvements.
Provide cross-department support with daily tasks as needed.
