E-Commerce Associate
About The Position
The E-Commerce Associate selects high-value merchandise at the Adult Rehabilitation Center for sale on an e-commerce platform and helps supply physical stores with collectible merchandise. The role researches items and determines appropriate prices, tests merchandise for functionality or authenticity, assists with product photography, and manages inventory and customer orders. The associate provides timely phone and email customer support, follows up on orders, meets posting and sales targets, and works with the District Sales Manager, E-Commerce Specialist Associate, and team members in daily e-commerce operations.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Demonstrated competency in the skill area through verifiable training and/or experience.
- Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects and move heavy objects such as furniture, packages, and other bulk items.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.
Responsibilities
- Select high-value merchandise at the ARC Center for sale on the e-commerce platform and supply physical stores with collectible merchandise.
- Research items to be posted and determine the best possible price.
- Test items, including electronics and jewelry, to confirm functionality or authenticity before posting.
- Use third-party research, listing, and shipping software, including Terapeak, Sure Done, and ShipStation.
- Track physical inventory currently on auction and secure pending items in the designated area.
- Assist with photographing items for display on the auction website.
- Handle phone and email customer support in a timely manner.
- Follow up with customers on all orders in real time.
- Meet daily posting quotas and weekly and monthly sales targets set by the Supervisor.
- Partner with the District Sales Manager, E-Commerce Specialist Associate, and team members in the day-to-day operation of the e-commerce business.
