About The Position

The E-Commerce Associate works with The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center’s retail team to support the e-commerce business and the Adult Rehabilitation Program. The role selects valuable merchandise for online sale and supplies physical stores with collectible items. It researches, prices, tests, photographs, lists, and tracks items; supports customers and order fulfillment; and works toward posting quotas and sales targets in coordination with the supervisor and team.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Demonstrated competency in the skill area through verifiable training and/or experience.
Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist intermittently or continuously.
Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects and move heavy items, including furniture, packages, and other bulk items.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks.

Responsibilities

Select high-value merchandise at the ARC Center for sale on the e-commerce platform and supply physical stores with collectible merchandise.
Research items extensively and determine the best possible price.
Test merchandise to confirm its functionality or authenticity before posting, including electronics and jewelry.
Use third-party research, listing, and shipping software, including Terapeak, Sure Done, and ShipStation.
Track physical inventory listed for auction and secure pending items in the designated area.
Assist with photographing items for the auction website.
Respond to customer support inquiries by phone and email in a timely manner.
Follow up with customers on all orders in real time.
Meet daily posting quotas and weekly and monthly sales targets set by the supervisor.
Partner with the District Sales Manager, E-Commerce Specialist Associate, and team members in daily e-commerce operations.
