About The Position

A Dunkin Donuts associate provides First Class Service to internal and external guests in a friendly environment. The role focuses on helping guests with food, beverages, and retail products through product knowledge, assistance, suggestions, and suggestive selling. The associate prepares and presents products to high standards, processes transactions, maintains the work area, supports inventory and merchandising, and complies with food-safety and other applicable regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of mathematics sufficient to calculate costs and make change, and knowledge of cash-handling procedures.
Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently and with other team members.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends, and various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment.
Excellent customer-service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Self-starter able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
Proficiency in reading and writing.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and perform essential job functions including standing, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances.

Responsibilities

Provide First Class Service to every guest, business partner, and peer, following company core values.
Greet and acknowledge guests, maintain product knowledge, assist with product decisions, and use suggestive selling.
Use established store communication practices.
Process point-of-sale transactions quickly and efficiently while following cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
Maintain high standards for product preparation and presentation.
Educate guests about vendor products and maintain knowledge of coffee.
Build guest loyalty and improve selling skills using available training materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes.
Restock products and assist with inventory as needed.
Execute merchandising standards consistent with company standards.
Comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including food-safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
