About The Position

This role involves creating and cashing wagering tickets for guests, handling monetary transactions accurately, and providing excellent guest service. The position also requires maintaining a neat work area, possessing knowledge of property information, and ensuring compliance with federal currency transaction reporting requirements. The employee is expected to uphold the company's mission and values, representing the company positively in all interactions.

Requirements

High School diploma general education (GED) and five years related experience.
Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Cage transactions.
Must have basic computer skills including casino systems and MS applications including Word and Excel.
Louisiana Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position.
Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.
Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people.
Strong tactical skills.
Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.
Able to work all shifts to include weekends and holidays also work 6-day work weeks when required

Nice To Haves

Previous money handling experience preferred.
Data entry skills preferred.

Responsibilities

Creates wagering tickets and cashes tickets for guests.
Collects appropriate amount of money from the guest for wagers and makes the correct change.
Assists guests with questions regarding wagering and how to use the self-betting terminals.
Verifies and balanced drawer funds at beginning and end of shift.
Safeguards said funds.
Maintains assigned window in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
Provides superior guest service to all guests.
Removes, records, and turns in amount of cash in register at end of shift, with necessary paperwork.
Ensures compliance with the federal currency transaction reporting requirements.
