About The Position

Madison College is recruiting qualified, licensed high school teachers to deliver dual credit/concurrent enrollment courses at their high schools. The high school must be within the Madison College district as defined by WTCS. Instructors deliver college courses in a high school setting, follow the college curriculum, use effective learning strategies, assess student learning according to college standards, and participate in department-level college activities. This role is responsible for instruction through the Early College Achievement Program (ECAP) and supports academic and career planning related to dual credit courses and pathways. The position reports to the Dean of the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and the Dean of Early College and Workforce Strategy. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis, with an initial review in November for courses beginning the following fall semester. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and applicants will be notified if they meet the requirements to teach ECAP courses at their high school. Content-specific training takes place during the spring and summer. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that their high school's processes and procedures are followed to implement concurrent enrollment courses. Required application attachments are a resume documenting related workforce and direct teaching experience, transcripts, and a copy of the Wisconsin DPI license. Submission of materials does not guarantee acceptance as an ECAP instructor. Salary and benefits are not provided.
