About The Position

Biocair is hiring a driver to collect and deliver time-sensitive, temperature-sensitive healthcare and research shipments for the life sciences industry. The role focuses on transporting a select number of important consignments—including medicines and patient samples—safely, carefully, compliantly, and on time, while delivering a high standard of customer care. The position is busy and fast-paced and involves working independently as well as collaborating with colleagues.

Requirements

• Valid US driver's licence held for at least two years.
• Fewer than two moving violations within the last 24 months.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service.
• Flexible, proactive approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in transport, courier, logistics, or freight forwarding environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare and research shipments safely, on time, and with care.
• Prepare and pack temperature-sensitive and specialist materials to quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and build trusted customer relationships.
• Ensure shipments, documentation, and processes meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Carry out vehicle checks and help keep the fleet safe, clean, and ready for use.
• Maintain organised, temperature-controlled storage and warehouse environments.
• Follow safe working practices and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with colleagues to solve problems, support customers, and improve work processes.
