About The Position

Applus IDIADA is seeking Driver Operators to join its team. The role involves driving and operating vehicles according to customer specifications, gathering data across North America, and documenting observations through a Data Acquisition system. The ideal candidate is technically adept and has general knowledge of the automotive industry and its products.

The position requires working outdoors to support test preparation and execution. Drivers must be able to drive passenger vehicles for up to eight hours a day, lift up to 50 pounds, and work a flexible schedule that may include extended hours and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 7–10 years of licensed driving experience.
• Current, unexpired driver's license.
• Clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years.
• Must be physically able to support test preparation and execution in an outdoor environment.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work extended hours and weekends.
• Must meet workplace health and safety requirements and practices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to drive passenger vehicles up to 8 hours a day.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with ADAS features.

Responsibilities

• Carry out driving services on vehicles in line with customer specifications.
• Drive and operate vehicles on predefined routes across various terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after shifts.
• Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Drive safely and follow traffic regulations.
• Follow instructions provided by the project manager.
• Complete daily reporting and other reports when required by the program manager.
• Maintain all documentation with utmost confidentiality.
• Support data acquisition and use appropriate tagging techniques to document objects, obstacles, and anomalies.
