About The Position

SiteOne Landscape Supply is hiring a Driver to operate company vehicles and deliver products to customers while providing high-quality service. The role also includes loading and unloading trucks, helping branch teammates and completing general duties when not driving. Drivers use in-vehicle dash cameras to support safety and must not obstruct or interfere with the cameras, which remain on during working time and may be turned off during off-duty time.

The position requires following transportation regulations and SiteOne safety and security protocols. Work includes handling heavy objects and working in hot and cold weather. Starting pay depends on location and experience and will meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws. Benefits may be available to eligible associates.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records.
• Ability to perform regular bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., stretching, and reaching below the waist and above the head.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Conversational English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.
• Driving experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of landscape, nursery, and irrigation products.
• Electric pallet jack and/or forklift experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products for deliveries.
• Make deliveries and ensure products arrive undamaged.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Perform duties within safety guidelines, including lifting and managing heavy objects and working in all weather conditions.
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to the driver.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working.
• Assist with store cleanliness and other general duties when not driving.
• Keep in-vehicle dash cameras unobstructed and operating during working time.
• Adhere to SiteOne safety and security protocols, including required use of in-vehicle dash cameras.
