About The Position

SiteOne Landscape Supply is hiring a Driver to operate company vehicles and deliver products to customers while providing excellent service. Drivers load and unload trucks, help ensure the branch operates successfully, and follow applicable transportation, safety, and security requirements. The role uses in-vehicle dash cameras during working time to support driver, workforce, and public safety; cameras may be turned off during off-duty time.

When not driving, the Driver may assist with general branch duties, including keeping the store clean. The role involves working in all weather conditions and handling heavy objects. Conversational English/Spanish proficiency is preferred. Starting pay depends on location and experience and will meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records.
• Ability to perform regular bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, stretching, and reaching below the waist and above the head.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Driving experience is preferred.
• Conversational proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Knowledge of landscape, nursery, and irrigation products is a plus.
• Electric pallet jack and/or forklift experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products for deliveries.
• Make deliveries and ensure products arrive undamaged.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Perform job duties within safety guidelines, including lifting and managing heavy objects and working in hot and cold weather.
• Maintain and protect property entrusted to the employee.
• Work with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to support business performance.
• Assist with store cleanliness and other general duties when not driving.
• Keep in-vehicle dash cameras unobstructed and operating during working time; cameras may be turned off during off-duty time.
• Follow SiteOne safety and security protocols, including required use of in-vehicle dash cameras.
