CDL Driver B - Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
About The Position
CDL Drivers operate a SiteOne vehicle to deliver landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to customers while providing excellent customer service. The role also includes loading and unloading trucks, preparing inventory orders for pickup or delivery, and assisting with branch operations. Drivers use in-vehicle dash cameras to support safety and must not obstruct or interfere with the cameras, which remain on during working time and may be turned off during off-duty time. Drivers must follow applicable transportation regulations and SiteOne safety and security protocols.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL license; Class A CDL licensees are also welcome.
- Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records.
- Ability to bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head on a daily basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves
- Conversational proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience operating a manual-shift vehicle.
- Experience operating a Moffett or other truck-mounted forklift.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to SiteOne customers.
- Cultivate and manage strong customer relationships.
- Assist customers with questions and needs in person or over the phone.
- Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pickup or delivery.
- Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working that support business performance.
- Assist with other branch responsibilities as needed.
- Keep in-vehicle dash cameras unobstructed and operating during working time; cameras may be turned off during off-duty time.
- Follow SiteOne safety and security protocols, including required use of in-vehicle dash cameras.
- Load and unload trucks.
