About The Position

CDL Drivers operate a SiteOne vehicle to deliver landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to customers while providing world-class customer service. The role also involves loading and unloading trucks and working with teammates to help the branch operate successfully. Drivers use in-vehicle dash cameras intended to support job performance and the safety of drivers, coworkers, and the public. Cameras must not be obstructed or interfered with and must remain on during working time; they may be turned off during off-duty time. Drivers must follow SiteOne safety and security protocols, including required dash-camera use.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including daily bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching below the waist and above the head.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Conversational English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.
• Experience operating a manual-shift vehicle may be preferred.
• Experience operating a Moffett or other truck-mounted forklift may be preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to SiteOne customers and cultivate and manage strong customer relationships.
• Assist customers with questions and needs in person or over the phone.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pickup or delivery.
• Work with teammates to help ensure successful branch operations and assist with other branch responsibilities as needed.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working that positively impact business performance.
• Keep in-vehicle dash cameras unobstructed and operating during working time, and adhere to SiteOne safety and security protocols.
