About The Position

SiteOne Landscape Supply’s Driver operates company vehicles to deliver products and provide service to customers. The role includes loading and unloading trucks, helping ensure the branch operates successfully, and assisting with store cleanliness and general duties when not driving. Drivers must follow applicable transportation regulations and SiteOne safety and security protocols. The position uses in-vehicle dash cameras, which must not be obstructed or interfered with and must remain on during working time; cameras may be turned off during off-duty time. Drivers work in all weather conditions and may be required to lift and manage heavy objects. Bilingual conversational English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records.
• Ability to perform regular bending, lift up to 50 pounds, stretch, and reach below the waist and above the head.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Conversational proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Driving experience.
• Knowledge of landscape, nursery, and irrigation products.
• Electric pallet jack and/or forklift experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products for deliveries.
• Make deliveries and ensure products arrive undamaged.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Perform job duties within safety guidelines, including lifting and managing heavy objects and working in hot and cold weather.
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to the employee.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working that support business performance.
• Assist with store cleanliness and other general duties when not driving.
• Do not obstruct or interfere with in-vehicle dash cameras; keep them on during working time and turn them off only during off-duty time.
• Follow SiteOne safety and security protocols, including required use of in-vehicle dash cameras.
