About The Position

Decker Truck Line is seeking a full-time Driver Recruiter to join its Recruiting Department. The ideal candidate has a solid background in transportation and recruiting, and must have prior driver recruiting and/or transportation experience to be considered. This is a first-shift position with a Monday–Friday schedule of either 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The role involves substantial phone work and applicant qualification, along with background checks and maintaining applicant records. Requirements

• Prior driver recruiting and/or transportation experience is required.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced but professional work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid background in Microsoft Office is required.

Nice To Haves

• Tenstreet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct heavy phone work with potential driver applicants.
• Qualify potential driver applicants.
• Use third-party databases to run background checks.
• Maintain applicant information in the company database.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
