About The Position

PAM Transport is seeking a highly driven and self-motivated Driver Recruiter to attract talent for its fleet and on-campus CDL-A program. The recruiter engages with prospective drivers and students, shares information about opportunities at PAM Transport, and guides candidates through recruitment and onboarding. The role supports building a strong driver workforce and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Requirements

Self-motivated.
Knowledge of the motor carrier transportation industry.
Knowledge of recruiting and marketing as applied to driver recruiting.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Drive and passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

Recruit qualified driver candidates for the fleet and/or students for the on-campus CDL-A program.
Conduct daily recruiting activities to source new driver and/or student candidates.
Work toward weekly hiring goals of 2 or more drivers and/or an average of 2–3 students per quarter.
Respond to inbound phone inquiries from prospective recruits generated through various media sources.
Enter recruitment activity accurately and promptly in the 10st database.
Phone-screen candidates after they complete employment applications.
Guide candidates through the onboarding process from application to hire.
Schedule applicants for pre-employment drug screens and physicals.
Coordinate onboarding and/or school arrival processes with approved candidates.
Partner with internal departments, including Student and Safety, to support a smooth onboarding experience.
Follow Safety department documentation processes and procedures to ensure DOT compliance.
Assist with recruitment-related special projects as assigned by leadership.
