About The Position

The Driver/Messenger drives armored vehicles on designated routes to provide cash-in-transit services, including branch and retail deliveries and pickups, ATM replenishment and deposit pickups, and safe replenishment and deposit pickups. The position provides cash and coin service to clients and supports requests and operational objectives while maintaining excellent communication and efficient service. The role is accountable for the security of assigned mobile liabilities and for following safety, security, regulatory, and company requirements. The employee handles vehicle inventory, maintains required records, reports incidents and discrepancies, completes required training, and works scheduled hours punctually. Work takes place in an armored vehicle or occasionally in a financial services facility, with possible exposure to extreme heat, cold, and other weather conditions.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old in accordance with US DOT standards and ASRB requirements.
Valid driver's license and three years of driving history.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate through a US DOT-approved medical examiner.
Effectively apply internal and external customer service practices and processes to meet quality service standards.
Learn and apply information about security services and compliance requirements to assess security concerns and help develop security solutions.
Resolve problems using knowledge and experience.
Communicate professionally and clearly; listen actively and use tact and diplomacy in sensitive or confidential situations.
Use correct English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Operate computers, business software, and standard office equipment.
Understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Set priorities and manage time effectively.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds while maintaining a secure environment.

CIT operations, security industry, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Drive armored vehicles on designated routes to provide branch deliveries and pickups, ATM replenishment and deposit pickups, and safe replenishment and deposit pickups.
Load and unload vehicle inventory, including bags, boxes, and cassettes.
Secure inventories by executing controls and complying with security procedures.
Seek to reduce risk exposure when performing container transactions.
Report incidents, events, discrepancies, and faults concerning the vehicle or assigned daily work.
Complete, verify, and submit departmental reports, documents, and files before the end of the shift.
Comply with security industry codes and standards, regulatory requirements, RISE policies and procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Follow security procedures and policies and maintain strict confidentiality of client information.
Complete training and self-study to maintain required knowledge of security practices, services, and operations.
Work scheduled hours and maintain punctuality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
