About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to provide a high level of customer service while completing their work safely and securely. The role involves collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin between vehicles and client locations, loading and unloading ATM machines, and using handheld electronic devices to scan and track shipments, determine routes, and complete documentation. Drivers communicate with customers, coworkers, management, and designated company representatives, and report delays, service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information promptly. They also conduct vehicle safety inspections and maintain vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean, operational condition. Empyreal Logistics participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with Form I-9 information to confirm work authorization in the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in a delivery driver, route driver, truck driver, medical courier, messenger, ATM technician, patrol officer, military veteran, secure transport, or security guard position.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, professionally, and courteously with customers, coworkers, and management in person and through phone, written, and electronic channels.
Safely operate vehicles in varied traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Maintain communication with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Maintain vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean and operationally ready condition.
Act in a manner that reflects Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture; foster respectful and productive relationships, address conflict constructively, and work in partnership across workgroups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
