About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to value both the results of their work and how they achieve them. The role involves safely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin; serving clients professionally; and maintaining the security and accuracy of clients’ assets. Drivers also use handheld electronic devices for shipment tracking, route determination, and documentation, and maintain vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean and operationally ready condition. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally. More than one year of experience in a related driving, courier, security, or similar role is preferred. Empyreal Logistics participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with Form I-9 information to confirm work authorization in the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

More than one year of experience in a delivery driver, route driver, truck driver, medical courier, messenger, ATM technician, patrol officer, military veteran, secure transport, or security guard position.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, courteously, and professionally with customers, co-workers, and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, or other electronic communication.
Safely operate vehicles in varied traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients’ assets.
Maintain communications with designated company representatives.
Promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Keep vehicles, equipment, and facilities clean and operationally ready.
Act in a manner consistent with Empyreal’s vision, values, and WOW culture; foster respectful and productive relationships, address conflict constructively, and partner across workgroups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
