About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to provide friendly, professional service while safely and securely collecting, transporting, and delivering clients’ currency and other assets. The role includes customer interaction, route and shipment tracking with handheld electronic devices, vehicle inspections and upkeep, and timely communication and documentation. The position also emphasizes Empyreal’s vision, values, and WOW culture: treating everyone with respect, building productive relationships, addressing conflict constructively, working across teams, and valuing both the results of the work and how it is accomplished. Empyreal Logistics participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with the employee’s Form I-9 information to confirm authorization to work in the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and web-based or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience is preferred in delivery driving, route driving, truck driving, medical courier work, messenger work, ATM technology, patrol, military service, secure transport, or security guard work.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, politely, and professionally with customers, co-workers, and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, and other electronic channels.
Safely operate vehicles in varied traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients’ assets.
Maintain communication with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Keep the vehicle, equipment, and facility clean and operationally ready.
Act in a manner that reflects Empyreal’s vision, values, and WOW culture; foster respectful and productive relationships, address conflict constructively, and work in partnership within and across workgroups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
