About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to value both the work performed and how it is performed. The role involves securely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin, including loading and unloading ATM machines, while maintaining positive and professional interactions with customers, coworkers, and management. Drivers use handheld electronic devices to track shipments, determine routes, complete documentation, and communicate important updates. They also inspect and maintain vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean and operational condition. Empyreal Logistics participates in E-Verify and provides the federal government with Form I-9 information to confirm work authorization in the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, and/or physical maps is essential.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience preferred in delivery driving, route driving, truck driving, medical courier work, messenger work, ATM technology, patrol, military service, secure transport, or security guard work.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Maintain positive, friendly, and professional communications with customers, coworkers, and management in person, by phone, in writing, and through electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles in varied traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Maintain communications with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Maintain the vehicle, equipment, and facility in clean and operational readiness condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.
