About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to provide professional, friendly customer service while safely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin. The role also involves loading and unloading ATM machines, using handheld electronic devices to track shipments and routes, maintaining communications and records, and keeping vehicles, equipment, and facilities ready for operation. The position calls for someone who reflects Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture by treating others with respect, building productive relationships, addressing conflict constructively, and working in partnership across workgroups. Empyreal Logistics participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with Form I-9 information to confirm authorization to work in the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Working knowledge of navigation tools, such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience is preferred in a delivery driver, route driver, truck driver, medical courier, messenger, ATM technician, patrol officer, military veteran, secure transport, or security guard position.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Maintain positive, friendly, and professional communications with customers, co-workers, and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, and other electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles under a variety of traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Communicate with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Keep the vehicle, equipment, and facility clean and in operational readiness condition.
Act in a manner that portrays Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture.
Establish respect for everyone and foster an environment that builds and sustains productive relationships.
Address conflict respectfully and constructively.
Work in partnership within and across workgroups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
