About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to value both the results of their work and how they accomplish it. The role involves securely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin, serving clients professionally, and maintaining the vehicle, equipment, and facility in operational readiness. The position also requires meeting applicable job-related and role-specific qualifications. Empyreal Logistics participates in E-Verify and provides Form I-9 information to the federal government to confirm authorization to work in the United States.

Requirements

Maintain a valid driver's license and be able to perform the essential driving duties of the position.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, and/or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.
Meet all job-related qualifications and any role-specific requirements, where permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

More than one year of experience in a delivery driver, route driver, truck driver, medical courier, messenger, ATM technician, patrol officer, military veteran, secure transport, or security guard position.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, courteously, and professionally with customers, co-workers, and management in person, by phone, in writing, and through computerized or other electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles in a variety of traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Maintain communications with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Keep the vehicle, equipment, and facility clean and ready for operation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
