About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to value both the results of their work and how they accomplish it. The role involves safely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin, providing professional service to customers, and maintaining the secure and accurate handling of client assets. Drivers also use handheld electronic devices to track shipments, determine routes, and complete records.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Working knowledge of navigation tools, such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in delivery driving, route driving, truck driving, medical courier work, messenger work, ATM technician work, patrol officer work, military service, secure transport, or security guard work.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, courteously, and professionally with customers, co-workers, and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, and other electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles in varied traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Maintain communication with designated company representatives.
Report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information in a timely manner.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Maintain vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean and operationally ready condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.
