About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to serve as a transportation and customer service professional and the face of the company. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to value both the work performed and how it is performed. The role involves safely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin; loading and unloading ATM machines; tracking shipments and routes with handheld electronic devices; and maintaining secure, accurate service for clients. Drivers also communicate with customers, co-workers, management, and designated company representatives; report delays and incidents; complete required documentation; inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment; and keep the facility ready for operations. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Working knowledge of navigation tools, such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in delivery driving, route driving, truck driving, medical courier work, messenger work, ATM technician work, patrol work, military service, secure transport, or security guard work.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, professionally, and courteously with customers, co-workers, and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, and electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles in varied traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Maintain communication with designated company representatives.
Report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information in a timely manner.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Maintain the vehicle, equipment, and facility in clean and operational-readiness condition.
Act in a manner that reflects Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture.
Foster respect and productive relationships, address conflict respectfully and constructively, and work in partnership within and across workgroups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
