About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to serve as a transportation and customer service professional and the face of the company. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to value both the work completed and how it is carried out. The role involves safely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin; loading and unloading ATM machines; tracking shipments and determining routes with handheld electronic devices; completing documentation; and maintaining vehicle, equipment, and facility readiness. The driver maintains professional communications with customers, coworkers, management, and designated company representatives. They report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information promptly, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections. Other duties may be assigned. The role also calls for conduct aligned with Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture, including respect, constructive conflict resolution, productive relationships, and partnership across workgroups.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

More than one year of experience in a delivery driver, route driver, truck driver, medical courier, messenger, ATM technician, patrol officer, military veteran, secure transport, or security guard position.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, courteously, and professionally with customers, coworkers, and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, or other electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles in varied traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Maintain communication with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Maintain vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean and operationally ready condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.
