About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate comfortable, lightweight armored vehicles and provide professional, customer-focused service while safely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency, coin, and other client assets. The role uses handheld electronic devices to track shipments, determine routes, complete documentation, and communicate important updates. Drivers also inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment and uphold Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

More than one year of experience in delivery driving, route driving, truck driving, medical courier work, messenger work, ATM technology, patrol, military service, secure transport, or security guard work.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, professionally, and courteously with customers, co-workers, and management in person and through phone, written, computerized, or other electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles in varying traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Maintain communication with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Keep the vehicle, equipment, and facility clean and operationally ready.
Act in a manner that reflects Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture.
Foster respect and productive relationships, address conflict respectfully and constructively, and work in partnership within and across workgroups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
