About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate lightweight armored vehicles and are expected to deliver excellent customer service while safely and securely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin. The role involves communicating professionally with customers, coworkers, and management, using handheld electronic devices to track shipments and routes, and keeping vehicles, equipment, and facilities clean and operationally ready. The position also requires completing vehicle safety inspections, maintaining records and electronic documentation, and promptly reporting delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information. Employees are expected to act in accordance with Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture by fostering respectful, productive relationships and addressing conflict constructively. Empyreal Logistics participates in E-Verify and uses Form I-9 information to confirm authorization to work in the United States.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in delivery driving, route driving, truck driving, medical courier work, messenger work, ATM technology, patrol officer work, military service, secure transport, or security guard work.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Maintain positive, friendly, and professional communications with customers, coworkers, and management in person, by phone, in writing, and through computerized or other electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles in a variety of traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin to and from vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure the safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients' assets.
Maintain communications with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Maintain vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean and operational readiness condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.
